Good morning, Welland!

The Jackfish and the Hamilton Cardinals finished the season with identical records, and now they settle it in a best-of-seven for the Dominico Cup. Game 2 is at The Pond on Saturday night, and if you've never watched playoff baseball on Quaker Road under the lights, this is the weekend I'd pick to fix that. There’s also live music at The Bank on Friday and Saturday, plus Culture Days at Central Fire Hall and a fundraiser walk at Seaway Mall.

In this week's Welland Weekly:

  • Jackfish host Game 2 of the finals Saturday at 7:05 p.m.

  • Culture Days runs Saturday and Sunday at Central Fire Hall

  • Live music at The Bank, a fundraiser walk, and more weekend plans

Let's get to it.
