Good morning, Welland!

Spooky season officially starts Friday. Lights, Frights, and Sights, the self-guided tour of decorated Welland homes, runs every evening from October 16 to 31, and a map lets you plan your route. Saturday is the busy day: the library's one-day book sale, a costumed paddle on the canal, a paranormal talk at the museum, and a Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute at The Bank. The Canadians are home Sunday night.

In this week's Welland Weekly:

  • Street Survivors, a Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute, at The Bank Art House, Saturday, October 17 at 8 p.m.
