Good morning, Welland!

This Saturday is the very last Welland Zombie Walk after 15 years of costumes, chaos and food donations, so if you've ever thought about getting undead for a good cause, this is your final chance. Saturday is the busiest day overall, with the Farmers Market and a coin show at the Croatian National Home in the morning and trivia at Il Forno that night. Friday has live acoustic music at Bridgewater Brewery, the Canadians are home twice this week, and on Sunday you can cheer on Niagara College athletes as they pedal a giant bike down Niagara Street.

In this week's Welland Weekly:

  • Welland Zombie Walk: One Last Time, Saturday, October 3 at 6:30 p.m.

  • Welland Coin Show, Saturday, October 3 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

  • Live music at Bridgewater Friday, trivia at Il Forno, Thanksgiving turkey deals, and more weekend plans!

Let's get to it.

If this is the year you finally go big for Lights, Frights, and Sights, you might need to clear some space in the garage first. Junk Removal Welland is a local crew that brings the truck and handles the lifting, loading and hauling, so the old furniture and leftover project piles can be gone before the skeletons come out.

Welland Weekly is free because of local partners like this one.
